World's Greatest Explorer - designed for Creative Scrappers #147

I've been looking at this sketch for a few days now, unsure of the route I wanted to take with it ... I got up this morning, grabbed a cup-o-joe and headed up to my scrap room to see what I could come up with ... 2 hours later, I'm happy with my page!

Here is the Creative Scrappers Sketch:

Here is my take on it  ... Thanks for looking!

  1. Great job on this page! What is the brown circle that looks like a coffee spill? Seriously, look great. And the leafy flower thing at the bottom, is that a rub-on? Very cool!

  2. the brown circle/coffee stain looking things are actually PAINT! Remember from the crazy church camp weekend, when I won the stamps and stencil paint? I got out the paint cause I liked the color ... opened it ... and was surprised to find that it comes out in a pointy little tip ... I drew a few circles then spread it out w/ a dry paint brush ... I LOVE the way it turned out ...

yep, the leafy brown thing is a rub-on ... from Basic Grey ... I think it came from Archiver's a while ago ...
