Never Grow Up! - Designed for My Scraps "Got Talent" #7

Yep, I'm still playing along at My Scraps and More for their "Got Talent" challenge ... this week was to use Taylor Swift's new album and choose a song title as your page title ... here were the choices for week #7:

  1. Mine
  2. sparks fly
  3. Back to December
  4. Speak Now
  5. Dear John
  6. Mean
  7. The Story of Us
  8. Never Grow Up
  9. Enchanted
  10. Better than Revenge
  11. Innocent
  12. Haunted
  13. Last Kiss
  14. Long Live

As you can see by the title of this post, I went with 'Never Grow Up' ... which, if you know me, suits me just fine ;)

So, here's what I came up with ... I'm quite happy with my final result ... as always, honest opinions and comments are welcomed!

I've spent a few days on this ... put stuff down, ripped it back up ... had a harder time w/ it than I should've ... but in the end, I'm pretty happy with the result ... as always, comments are totally appreciated!!

He Will Always Have My Heart - Designed for TPV Grid/Rainbow Challenge

Wow, my second post as a Design Team member over at The Paper Variety!  I'm still over the moon excited that they picked me to represent their awesome challenge blog .... So my task this week was to create a page with a grid theme or that uses every color of the rainbow ...  Hope to see you over at The Paper Variety, participating in this challenge!  Don't forget, each week they choose a Guest Designer who will be invited to design for the next weeks challenge!  All you have to do to be considered is post a paper project that fits this weeks theme!  Good Luck!

Here's what I created ... definitely not my usual scrappin style, but I'm really happy that I went with this page ... I like how it turned out ... thanks for looking!

Exciting News!

I'm head-over-heels excited to announce that I've been chosen for The Paper Variety Design Team!  I've always enjoyed their challenges  and couldn't be happier to get to work with this very talented group of ladies.  We're going to have a blast this term, so head over to TPV and join us for some amazing challenges!

My first assignment for TPV was Christmas in July ... which proved to be far more of a challenge than any of you know ... I've NEVER scrapped a Christmas picture before.  Those of you that are friends and followers already know that I only scrap travel photos.  My dear friend, Tracy, came through for me and gave me a picture of her adorable son.   I'm actually quite happy with my LO, and I hope she is also!

The amazing prize was donated by Scraptastic Club:

Jessica from Scraptastic Club has kindly donated this SUPER SWEET scrapbooking kit! Such a cute collection including Echo Park, My Mind's Eye, American Crafts and other great supplies!

One lucky lady will win the random drawing ... will it be you?!

Here's the inspiration over at TPV:
